Superstar Mahesh Babu‘s last outing, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, ended up as an average grosser at the box office. Mahesh’s screen presence and his energetic performance were somewhat appreciated by the fans, but the confused direction, scattered narrative, and lackluster music spoiled the experience.

In the recent past, none of Mahesh Babu’s films got unanimous applause. Fans say that directors aren’t able to handle the stardom of Mahesh. They are confused about how to utilize his charisma, looks, and talent that can satisfy his fans and the common audience equally.

A recent classic example was Mahesh fans praising director Parasuram as Junior Puri Jagannadh before Sarkaru Vaari Paata’s release, but soon after the release, he got brutally trolled for delivering a mediocre film. After the release, Thaman also got a solid thrashing from fans for delivering such ordinary music for SVP.

Now all hopes are pinned on Trivikram, who is going to direct Mahesh in SSMB28. Trivikram is someone who knows how to utilize the talent and screen presence of someone like Mahesh. He knows how to extract good work from his cast and technicians; he is famous for content that appeals to both classes and the masses. He is someone who makes films and not projects.
