“That’s Why Mahesh Is Great”

It was interesting to know how Tamil audience accepts the other language actors or films in their state. Sundeep Kishan spoke on how Telugu films work in Tamil industry. He also detailed the difference between Telugu and Tamil audience.

Having worked closely with Tamil filmmakers, Sundeep explained how Telugu audience accept the good films of any language that are dubbed into Telugu but don’t make a non-Telugu actor a huge star here.

On the other side, Tamil audience won’t accept the other language films that are dubbed into Tamil. He said that Tamilians admire the actors despite their origin like RajiniKanth, MGR, Ajith, Vishal, e.t.c who are not Tamilians but made them huge stars in Tamil industry. But they don’t encourage dubbing films.

Sundeep praises Mahesh Babu’s SPYder attempt in Tamil. “Mahesh is great!” He says. “He could have done any commercial film for his stature but he always experiments and tries to do something new and the effort he put is genuine and fantastic. It is just unfortunate that SPYder didn’t go well in Tamil but we must appreciate the risk he took, it’s not so easy to get the acceptance in Tamil”, Sundeep says.
