Mahesh Babu’s Two Lucky Escapes

Not many know that Mahesh Babu was the first choice to play the role of Ram Charan in Acharya. Though the makers deny the news as rumors, Mahesh indeed agreed to do the role but walked out of the project at the last minute.

Left with no choice, Chiranjeevi himself suggested Ram Charan‘s name and he came on board as Siddha. But as the film has been panned with poor reviews, fans of Mahesh Babu are happy that their star hero escaped Siddha’s role otherwise things would have been suicidal.

Koratala has showcased Chiranjeevi in a very subdued manner and this has not gone well with many. Mahesh as Siddha cannot be imagined and by the looks of it, the star hero has taken a wise decision by bluntly rejecting Acharya.

Not only with Acharya but Mahesh also walked out of Pushpa at the last minute as he did not like the role narrated by Sukumar. After watching Bunny do the role, it can be clearly said that Mahesh would have not suited the character played by Allu Arjun. In this way, he has escaped not one but two films back to back. Mahesh will next be seen in Sarkaru Vaari Pata.
