Mahesh’s Wife on Why They Chose Adivi Sesh

Yesterday turned out to be quite exciting for Mahesh Babu’s fans when the announcement came that their matinee idol’s own production GMB Entertainment is going to produce Adivi Sesh’s ‘Major’ along with other partners. So, what has GMB Entertainment’s Managing Director and Mahesh’s wife Namrata has to say about it?

Namrata says that the honest vision of Adivisesh and his director Sashikian Tikka inspired them to take up this project to tell the story of a national hero. She was impressed with their honesty. This is the story of Major Unnikrishnan who played a crucial role during the Mumbai Terror Attacks 26/11 in 2008 and became a martyr fighting with the terrorists and was awarded Ashoka Chakra, posthumously.

Namrata further added she and her husband Mahesh Babu had already visualized that their GMB would be a platform to tell the stories that can be relatable to anyone across the world. That implies they are going to take the story to the international audiences, as well. So, they are excited that they have chosen the original tale of a martyr, Major Unnikrishnan to tell through their GMB Entertainment.
