Mahesh Babu’s Classic Completes 18 Years

One movie that paved way for Mahesh Babu to build his career as a superstar and gave him the first-ever true landmark movie in terms of elevating him to a star level was ‘Okkadu’. It has been 18 years since ‘Okkadu’ came created records for the Ghattamaneni hero.

Bhumika Chawla, the heroine of ‘Okkadu’ shared a social media post mentioning that ‘Okkadu’ was a special movie at the beginning of her career. She thanked the wonderful people she worked with for the film aka Mahesh Babu, director Gunasekhar and producer MS Raju.

Fans are remembering the awesome background music scored by Mani Sharma and the tunes of ‘Cheppave Chirugaali’ and how Kondareddy Buruju (Fort) became famous and has been featured many other movies of the Telugu Film Industry.
