Shahid Kapoor will soon be seen playing a white-collar criminal in the upcoming film ‘Farzi’ by director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK. It is learnt that leggy lass Kriti Sanon has been roped in to play the leading lady.
A source from the film’s unit spoke to a Mumbai-based tabloid and said, “Raj and DK are currently busy with the post-production of ‘Happy Ending’. But at the same time, they’ve started working on the pre-production of ‘Farzi’. They recently gave a narration to Kriti and she was bowled over by the script.” Reportedly a search was on for an actress who could pull off the role of a spunky Delhi girl and after considering the cream of the crop, they have finalized Kriti. ‘Farzi’ goes on floors in December and will be shot in Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad.
