Majot Shot: Taiwan Delegation bowled over by AP

The Central government had approved to create an electronic manufacturing cluster (EMC) in the Sri City of Chittoor district. The Electronic Industries Association of India (ELCINA) has already signed an MoU with the Sri City for setting up an Electronics Hardware Manufacturing Cluster here.

Recently a high-profile business delegation from Taiwan visited Sri City and are completely bowled over by the facilities available there which include a ready mix of infrastructure, educational institutions, hospitals and logistics.

It is said that the delegation is also impressed with state government’s proactiveness and it will very soon put up a proposal for the investments in the Electronics Hardware Manufacturing Cluster here. This will be a major shot in the arm for the truncated state which is keen to establish itself as hub of hardware manufacturing units under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu.
