Director dies due to Pepsi

Few days back the death of talented director Rajesh Pillai shocked entire Malayalam Industry. He died at the early age of 41 due to Liver Cirrhosis disease. What strikes in everyone mind is that disease related to liver would be caused due to Alcohol drinking / Cigaratte smoking.

Rajesh didn’t have neither of these habits. One of his close friends Subrahmanian Sukumaran confirmed the same in his Facebook account and he revealed some food habits which led to the death of Rajesh. When Rajesh was shooting for his first film, he has been habituated to junk food as normal food not available at locations. Rajesh used to drink 30 cans of Pepsi every day on sets. This habit continued further and landed him in hospital.

The doctors confirmed that Pepsi is the prime cause for his liver disease. They also suggested transplanting the liver years before.
