Man kills wife over Rs.10 loan

A heated argument between wife and husband over Rupees 10 in Nangloi of west Delhi on Monday forced the man to stab his wife with a knife and kill her. The accused Ashok got in to argument with his wife, Rani who had lent Rs 10 to someone. Very soon the argument turned heated, Rani slapped him he got furious and went inside the kitchen and brought a knife and killed her stabbing multiple times.

Upon a complaint from neighbour police reached the spot and found Ashok sitting beside his wife’s body with his clothes soaked in blood. The accused confessed that he murdered his wife in anger. Police have booked him under the charges of murder and have registered an FIR at Nangloi Police station. They have also recovered the weapon of offense.

It is a second marriage for both Ashok and Rani. The women had two sons from her first marriage whom she brought with her. The children were in school when the unfortunate incident took place.
