Man-made Lake in AP’s Core Capital!

Amaravathi, the upcoming capital of Andhra Pradesh is likely to have a man-made lake in the core capital. The lake will be twice that of Hyderabad’s water body Hussainsagar which will make a scenic place and all the administrative headquarters of the state government will come up along this lake.

Naidu wants all government buildings face the lake and it is also communicated to the Singapore team preparing the Master Plan. The government is also planning to acquire 5000-10000 acres in Krishna district on the other side of Krishna River to develop tourism projects.

As per the government records, there are about 4,500 acres of government land available between Kanchikacherla and Nandigama. Land Pooling will be done for another 5000 acres here. Minister Devineni Uma is assigned the task of supervising the land pooling with the locals.
