Trailer Talk: Assuring A Fun-Filled Ride

The trailer of director Maruthi’s quickie Manchi Rojulochaie is out. It is predominantly a love story with family drama and other sentiments rolled in. However, the whole thing is packaged as a fun-filled, entertaining ride in a typical director’s style.

Director Maruthi’s brand of comedy with quirky characters and funny situations are instantly visible in the trailer. It focuses more on the lead actor Santosh Sobhan and the father essayed by Ajay Ghosh.

The problem for the love story seems to be the father character essayed by Ajay Ghosh. We see a lot of him trying to disrupt the lovers. We have to see if that alone is the main plot or something else to it. The final few seconds reveal there could be more.

The bottom-line here is that the trailer of Manchi Rojulochaie misses on the sharpness of director Maruthi. There is a slight ambiguity with the primary point, and it hasn’t happened like this before with him. Well, this is a minor quibble. The team is promising a lot of fun, and the trailer is packed with it.
