Manchu Manoj’s Idea Backfires –Movie Affected

Movie promotion is an art that not many in the Telugu films are master off. The lack-off skills are more evident in the small film territory where the filmmakers try to attract the audience through various promotional techniques than the big movies which simply shove the film down the public throat. The Manchu family have been the weakest when it comes promotions as it always backfires.

The latest example being the chaos created by Manchu Manoj, earlier in the day, when he announced that he would be quitting films. Many assumed it was for real and started bombarding the actor with questions. It turns out Manoj thought of an innovative way to promote his next movie. He has henceforth deleted the initial message and explained his position.

Meanwhile, the teaser for his next film Okkadu Migiladu has been released. And more than the teaser which should have been the talking point, the actor’s earlier comments are still creating the buzz. That’s how promotions backfire when the clarity is missing, and sensationalism takes over.
