Mani Ratnam hasn’t confirmed cast for his next

There has been a lot noise of Mani Ratnam’s trilingual project with Mahesh Babu, Akkineni Nagarjuna. It was said that the ace filmmaker had roped in these actor in his film, but the truth is that he hasn’t confirmed his cast yet. In a recent interview, he confirmed approaching the aforementioned actors for his next project but is yet to confirm them.

Mani said that he’s still busy writing the script and can’t say for sure by when can he complete it. He also added that only after he finishes writing his script, will he be able confirm his cast. Aishwarya recent said in an interview in Cannes that she’s all set to work with Mani. We wonder what’s causing the ace filmmaker to say like this. Needless to say, it’s a Mani Ratnam film, and all are eagerly waiting.

In between writing his script, Mani is busy attending film festivals. He would soon be attending Ladakh International Film Festival. About the fest, he said, “The concept of a film festival in Ladakh is fantastic. I think it’s a beautiful place and its cinematic geography makes it even more fitting. It is also proof to the penetration of cinema to the nook and corner of our country. The organizers deserve to be appreciated”.
