Disaster for All, Blockbuster for One!

Ravi Teja delivered yet another disaster with Mass Jathara. The film tanked right from the paid premieres in India, and the overwhelmingly negative response has made it clear that it’s a washout, starting with Hyderabad itself.

Among the many flaws in the film, Bheems Ceciroleo‘s background score has drawn particularly harsh criticism for trying to mimic Thaman’s loudest BGM.

Bheem’s recent statements, however, are the strangest of all. He claims Mass Jathara is a blockbuster for him, blames the timing of the release, and also insists he hasn’t heard any negativity about his BGM, and adds that he is not on social media. This shows just how disconnected he is from audience reception and the reality on the ground. He could have at least defended his BGM by acknowledging the feedback, but instead he shifts the blame entirely to the release timing.

If this statement is meant for media optics, he should know that after a disaster like Mass Jathara, the only way forward is to admit the failure and focus on improving the next project. Bheem’s next big release will be Chiranjeevi-Anil Ravipudi’s Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu. Let’s hope he doesn’t repeat the mistakes he made with Mass Jathara.
