Massive deal makes Powerstar equal Superstar

A massive deal has been struck between the makers of Gabbar Singh 2 with the corporate giant Eros International. Thanks to this deal now Powerstar Pawan Kalyan shares the record of highest pre release business for a single film with Superstar Mahesh Babu.

In the past Mahesh Babu’s film 1 Nenokkadine was sold for a whopping 72 Cr to Eros International by 14 Reels which made the record. However the historical loss meant that big chunk of this deal was reconfigured to theatrical rights of Aagadu. With Gabbar Singh 2 it is a standalone deal of 72 Cr as of now and that makes it the current record for the biggest deal.

Gabbar Singh 2 is expected to get on sets for second schedule in the second half of July. Pawan Kalyan too will be joining the shoot in this schedule. KS Ravindra (Bobby) of Power fame directs the movie.
