Massive Plans For 2.0 To Overcome BB2 Pressure

Right from the beginning when 2.0 was announced, its competition has been with second part of Baahubali. The fever reached a peak stage late last year when it was confirmed that both the films would arrive in the same year at the grand first look launch of 2.0.

Since then despite numerous updates, it has been all about Baahubali 2. The delay of 2.0 made things worse for the team that was already facing the heat of competition from Baahubali 2. And now, the phenomenal performance has taken the pressure to beat to a whole new level.

Behind the scenes massive plans are being made to give 2.0, same or bigger advantage the Baahubali2. 3D up-gradation and talk about a subsequent hike in price is one of those things. Even on the distribution side, Lyca is handling things directly by getting into the field for Hindi version. With all these happenings one can sense an unease of sorts in 2.0 camp.

Meanwhile, the makers are planning a grand audio launch function in Dubai. It would be a star-studded affair and will happen around Diwali period in October. The release date is still January 25, 2018, according to the unit. Shankar directs 2.0 which is a sequel to Robo starring Superstar Rajinikanth. Akshay Kumar joins the sequel playing a negative role.
