Media Upset With Mahesh’s GK Failure, Not Makers?

Guntur Kaaram came with the most exciting combos in the Telugu film industry, but the film’s performance at the box office, both in India and the U.S., turned out to be a nightmare for director Trivikram and the buyers.

Imagine a film that was expected to easily surpass $3 million in the U.S., ending up with a shameful total far below its breakeven value, despite having two of the hottest favorites associated with the project for this market.

In response to a question, producer Naga Vamsi said, “It is the media who are disappointed with Guntur Kaaram, not the movie unit.” Doesn’t that sound odd?

Some combinations are precious and do not materialize frequently, but when they do, they need to be utilized; otherwise, films like Guntur Kaaram will happen.
