Mersal Mess: Two cases filed

Mersal is a huge blockbuster today drawing the attention of different regions apart from Tamil people for its common connecting point of showcasing the current conditions of the country.

A case has been filed on the actor Vijay Ilayathalapathy alleging that he portrayed the government in a negative way and that all the dialogues in the film were lies. The film had a scene that characterized the GST of India compared to that of Singapore’s. BJP leaders, even the Tamilnadu leader stood against the film demanding to remove the scenes that are misleading.

On the other side, a petition has been filed in Madras High Court demanding to revoke the censor approval of the film alleging that the film gave a misconception of the taxation system of India. The leaders are furious on the film and are demanding a ban on the film too.

But one thing that the haters are not realizing is that these controversies are the ones that are making the film to reach out a wide range of audience. Isn’t it? So far there is only good happened to the film due to the controversies. Let us see what happens more.
