Mind-Numbing Figures for Rajinikanth’s US Rights

Though 2.0 was most awaited films for the fans of Rajini, they had to adjust with Kaala for now, as the film will take a while. Now, Kaala, produced by Rajinikanth’s son-in-law Dhanush is asking for a price never heard before, for a regular commercial film for the US rights with 30+ Cr. Kaala comes from the same director who couldn’t satisfy Rajini fans with his Kabali the last time.

Also interestingly, Rajinikanth’s 2.0 is also quoting a mind-numbing risky price around 70 Cr. Irony is that, even a film like Baahubali 2 made $20 Million in the life run. And for the kind of price they are asking for the film, 2.0 has to perform much better than BB2 at the US box office.

Looks like the makers want to fully take the advantage of Superstar’s craze after his political entry, but we have seen how biggies like Agnyaathavaasi tanked the buyers big time, let’s wait and see what is to come for Rajini’s.
