Miserable Openings For the Once Dependable Hero

Tamil Hero Vishal was once considered a safe bet in Tollywood. His dubbing films used to do well and made decent profits for the buyers in the B and C centers. But in the past few years, he has delivered nothing but disasters.

Now his latest release Laatti couldn’t even get half a decent opening in the Telugu states. Previously, his films used to at least open decently, irrespective of the content. But now it seems like the audience isn’t even interested in giving the film a chance.

Laatti needs around Rs 3 crores to break even. But looking at the opening day collections, it is doubtful whether it will at least recover the release expenses.

It is sad to see Vishal completely losing his market in the Telugu states. Unless he teams up with some happening director and sets up an exciting multistarrer with a big hero, solo Vishal films have become a BIG no for the Telugu audience.
