Underdog Sentiment To Work for Keerthy Suresh?

Keerthy Suresh is one of the very few actors down the South who opted for an online release very early in the Lockdown. Her Penguin got released on Amazon Prime Video but failed to impress the audience. Now, she is going to test waters once again with her next, Miss India.

Leading OTT Major, Netflix bagged the online rights and the movie will be premiered on November 4th. The trailer is about a girl who dreams to start her own business. Hailing from a middle-class family, everyone right from her family tries to pull her down.

Corporate forces try to belittle her even after she ventures with an Indian Coffee Brand in the United States. The story seems to be about an ambitious underdog and also of the corporate dirty tricks. Underdog sentiment is a time tested formula and corporate wars often work with the digital audience. So, Miss India definitely sounds promising.

On paper, the concept looks workable and it has to be seen how the debut director Narendra Nath handled it.
