MLA – Targeting A Decent Opening

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is coming with a new outing MLA (Manchi Lakshanalunna Abbayi). It will be his first film after a reasonably decent gap. The actor’s last release was Ism way back in 2016.

The advance bookings for the film are ordinary and the best case scenario for the first day looks to be to get a decent opening. The trailer was decent and promised a routine but entertaining venture. But despite the presence of a top heroine the lack of enthusiasm for opening shows disinterest on part of the audience.

With an exciting film lined up every week, it is essential that MLA gets an excellent talk. The mass centres patronisation and the eventual talk would determine the final result. As of now, the early signs aren’t that rosy is all that can be said.

The other releases of the week Needi Naadi Oke Katha and Rajaratham are non starters at the moment. However, a right word of mouth can change the fate of these small movies.
