Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi stayed apolitical all his life. He strove all his life for attaining independence and never enjoyed any power or position even after independence. Calling it a strict apolitical program, Modi announced that the program is intended to realize the dream of Mahatma Gandhi of a cleaner India. If the program becomes success, Modi will call himself a real heir of Gandhiji for having realized his dream. If not he is sending a message that Gandhiji do not represent one political party and is everybody’s man.
