Movie Replacing ‘Kaala’ Changes Its Title

Rajini’s Kaala had 27th April as the release date prior to the Producers’ strike in Tamilnadu. After the strike episode, Kaala’s release has been moved to June and Sai Pallavi’s Karu got the 27th April for the release.

The film starring Naga Shourya as the opposite lead titles as Kanam in Telugu and Karu in Tamil till the release date was announced. The film makers have suddenly changed the title to Diya in Tamil and the reasons are not mentioned for the change. The film now will release as Diya in Tamil and Telugu title remains the same

What could have made them to change the Title just before the release? No idea. Anyway, Sai Pallavi tried a mother role in the film which not all heroines at the peak of the career would dare. Lets see if her choice is worth it.
