Mukesh Ambani gets 11Cr armoured Merc

Reliance Industries Limited had purchased a 11 Crore worth fortified Mercedes Benz mounted on an S600 for its Chairman, Mukesh Ambani. The car normally comes at a base price of 1.5 Crore but with the add-on security features import duty, road tax and insurance, it cost 11 Crore for the company.

Mukesh Ambani is given top ‘Z’ category security for the past couple of years and the car was purchases in accordance to his security levels. The car was also customized at Benz’s Sindelingen plant in Germany and was registered on Saturday.

Bollywood Actor Aamir Khan also possess a Mercedes Benz S600. However RIL Car’s Level-9 Security makes its the highest available currently. It is also said that adding the security features to the car delayed the delivery by 8 months.
