The makers of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s GodFather have repeatedly been making announcements that the film will release on October 5 at any cost. But inside reports suggest that a considerable amount of post-production work for the film is still pending.

As only close to three weeks are left for the release date, there are reports floating among media circles that the film is likely to skip the October 5 release date.

Due to the remake factor and not-so-impressive promotional content, trade analysts feel that GodFather is carrying very low buzz among the audience.

Also, the debacle of Megastar’s last release, Acharya, earlier this year is also making a dent in terms of business. The distributors are wary of buying the film for the fancy prices the makers are quoting.

There are also reports that the makers might opt for a own release on a recoverable advance basis.

It’s an unprecedented situation for a Megastar film. But Megafans say that never underestimate Chiranjeevi; he has the knack of pulling off a victory when no one is expecting it.

The makers should release some interesting promotional content that can take the hype of the film to the next level.
