Fear gets a new face in 418, and it belongs to Chaithra Achar. The newly released trailer of Mythri Movie Makers’ horror thriller introduces a disturbing world filled with hallucinations, supernatural forces and a mysterious Room No. 418. Presented by Prashanth Neel, the film marks the directorial debut of Kirtan Nadagouda. Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar are producing the movie, set for release on September 18.
The trailer takes viewers into a world where reality itself cannot be trusted. Vivek, an 18-year-old youngster, appears to be trapped between actual events and frightening hallucinations. At the same time, the reopening of an old building after 15 years becomes the catalyst for a larger mystery. Locals oppose the decision, while officials remain concerned about what lies inside Room No 418.
Chaithra Achar makes a strong impression. Her entry becomes a major turning point in the trailer, and she features in several of its frightening sequences. The actress brings an eerie intensity to the character, making Devika both mysterious and unsettling. Surya Raj, Charan Lakkaraju, Preethi Pagadala and Shashank Patil are also seen in key portions.
Dinesh Divakar’s cinematography makes effective use of shadows, confined spaces and camera compositions to build suspense. Venky GG’s background score works in tandem with the visuals, adding tension to the scary moments.
418 has generated interest and is set to bring a supernatural horror story to the big screen.
