Mythri Movies Avoids Biggies Pick Pre-Festival Dates

The big announcement from the most successful banner in the past few years, Mythri Movie Makers has come. They have announced the release dates of two its upcoming movies featuring popular star cast.

The two movies are Amar Akbar Anthony starring Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and Savyasachi with Naga Chaitanya. The surprise here was the former coming earlier than the latter. But that wasn’t entirely unexpected too as Naga Chaitanya has a release at August –end. That’s almost akin to a September coming. Another one arriving in October would have hampered the box office prospects.

However, the most obvious thing to observe here is the production house has avoided clashes with biggies. They have picked pre-festival dates. Amar Akbar Anthony arrives a week earlier than Jr NTR’s Aravinda Sametha, similarly, Savyasachi arrives a week before NGK and Sarkar.

The decision is also smart in a way; it gives the scope for makers to push the release to the festival in case any of the biggies fail to make on time. While that is about the release date, the more critical issue is will Mythri Movie Makers be able to keep their 100% track record intact? Let’s wait and see.
