Nag Ashwin Going All in for This Legend’s Vision

Director Nag Ashwin has become one of the most respected and highly effective filmmakers in Telugu Film Industry. His Yevade Subramanyam, Mahanati and Kalki 2898 AD have earned a special place while as a producer he is taking daring steps. He produced blockbuster Jathi Ratnalu and currently, producing Legendary director Singeetham Sreenivasa Rao’s SSR61.

The movie shoot is going on at a rapid pace and even though he crossed 94-years of age, the legend is working tirelessly to bring his vision to big screens. Singeetham in a special video revealed that for 40 years he had been going around with this story but no one took it to sets except Nag Ashwin. Soon, the movie title and teaser will be unveiled by team and they announced it in special BTS video for Nag Ashwin’s birthday.

He thanked him in the BTS video and we see the young director co-ordinating on the sets to produce SSR61 as legend envisioned. As the director celebrates his birthday today, it is heartening to see him respect the legend and bring his long term vision to screen.
