But interestingly enough, Chaitanya didn’t have much prominence in the trailer. We see him in 3-4 shots and that’s about it. He has changed his facial appearance and all, but Chay barely gets screen time in the trailer.
In the original, Forrest Gump, the Bubba character that Chay is playing has great importance and it also has great scope for acting.
On that count, Chay might deliver a good performance in the film but his blink and miss appearance in the trailer is unexpected.
The common opinion is that Chay deserved something better in regard to the trailer, especially so given that this is his Bollywood debut film. His fans are now hoping that Chay will hit it out of the park in the film.
Laal Singh Chaddha is up for release on August 11 and it could well be the turning point in Chay’s career.
