Chaitu – Making It Worse From Best

A film on the big banner that is on a massive momentum with back to back big successful movies, and another one with a director who is a brand and can guarantee big numbers with right talk. When an actor has two such films in his kitty, one can expect a big jump in numbers with right planning as one would help other.

Unfortunately, in the case of Naga Chaitanya, it is not happening as one expects. Call it the lack of planning or miscommunication, two big Chaitu films are coming one after other within the short gap. The movies are Savyasachi and Sailaja Reddy Alludu.

In this case, Savyasachi delay can be attributed as one of the reasons for the current predicament. The movie which carries a bigger buzz and comes on Mythri Movie Makers banner has no release date. It’s shoot delay and subsequent on-time completion of Sailaja Reddy Alludu means both are arriving around the same time in August.

Right now, it is heard that Savyasachi might get postponed. It is an option but that would reduce the buzz on the keenly awaited project. Whatever may be the case the big potential the movie had with summer release might not be there now. Chaitu and bad planning seem to be a match made in heaven and this is only the latest example.
