In response, the Women’s Commission had previously issued notices to Venu Swamy, prompting him to seek relief from the High Court. However, the court ruled that he must appear before the Commission.
During his appearance today, Venu Swamy publicly apologized for his comments about Chaitanya and Sobhita, expressing extreme regret for his actions.
The Women’s Commission gave him a stern warning to refrain from making such controversial statements in the future and cautioned that any repeat behavior would result in strict legal action.
