Naga Chaitanya Trying To Match Samantha?

Naga Chaitanya has been in fine form of late. His Love Story was decent hit at the box office, while Bangarraju ended up an average farer. Chaitanya has now announced his next project, which will be helmed by Tamil filmmaker Venkat Prabhu.

There have been rumors that Venkat Prabhu is planning the Telugu remake of his recent hit film, Maanaadu, with Chaitanya. But these rumors were quashed today as the makers announced this project, tentatively titled NC22, is a bilingual and it will be made in both Telugu and Tamil.

Chaitanya will be making his Bollywood debut with Laal Singh Chaddha later this year, and now, he is set for his Tamil debut with bilingual, NC22. He has clearly upped the ante following the much-talked about ChaySam divorce.

Netizens are commenting that Chay is trying to match Samantha, who is lining up multilinguals and has also caught the attention of Hindi audience with The Family Man 2. They say Samantha has been taking up multiple language projects after divorce and Chay is taking a similar route now.

Coming back to NC22, it will be produced by Srinivasa Chitturi, who is also producing Ram Pothineni’s The Warriorr. More details about the cast and crew are under the wraps now.
