After a big blockbuster like Suriya’s ‘Soorarai Pottru’ in Tamil, OTT is definitely missing a big blockbuster from Telugu movies. Though a couple of big movies made their way to the OTT platforms, they didn’t hit the right chord because on OTTs it’s the content that rules the roost for the most part.

Considering how content-based films like ‘Middle Class Melodies’ worked big on an OTT platform, one can clearly look at the upcoming movies and point at Shekhar Kammula’s ‘Love Story’ that can be a potential blockbuster on digital platforms.

We know how Shekhar Kammula banks big on middle-class emotions and the subtle portrayal of love that attracts the youth big time. This would suit any digital platform and it might become the first ever blockbuster from Telugu on OTT platforms during this coronavirus unlock season.

However, there is a buzz that the makers of the movie ruled out a direct OTT release as they want to go for the upcoming Sankranthi race. The combination of Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi is quite fresh and Shekhar Kammula’s previous blockbuster with Sai Pallavi is the biggest selling point of this ‘Love Story’.
