Naga Chaitanya’s Next Heading For An OTT Release

The Super Success of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda has brought hopes alive on the theatrical business. But the problem is only half solved for the medium and small films. Due to a huge number of backlogs, there is a big pile of big films releasing in the next few months and there is barely any space for other films.

Due to this, a few medium and small films are opting for the Direct-To-OTT release again. Naga Chaitanya who had only the earliest successes in theaters with Love Story is going for an OTT release for his next, Thank You. Buzz is that Dil Raju is in talks with Amazon Prime Video.

Dil Raju had earlier released Nani’s V directly on the same platform. The talks are on and the deal will be signed very soon. Amazon reportedly made a rosy offer for the film. Interestingly, Naga Chaitanya will have a theatrical release as his Bangarraju is gearing up for release this Sankranthi.

Thank You comes from the stable of Vikram K Kumar who previously delivered a classic like Manam with the Akkineni family. Raashi Khanna is the female lead.
