Nagarjuna Demanded That He Should Be The Star

After 15 years, Nagarjuna is going to Bollywood with Karan Johar’s production venture ‘Brahmastra’ starring young hero Ranbir Kapoor and the most talented Alia Bhatt as the lead pair. Nag is quite happy for doing a film with a director like Ayan Mukherjee and very talented star cast.

Talking about why he chose the role, Nagarjuna said that he was excited as the role he was offered was pivotal. He also demanded the makers that his role must be in such a way that the length of the role wasn’t important to him but he should be the star. That means though a brief role, Nagarjuna’s presence must be felt. H wasn’t bothered about quantity but the quality.

The makers showed him the 3D version of his role in ‘Brahmastra’ and that’s the reason Nag decided to do a Bollywood movie after 15 years. There is a bunch of very talented artists including Amitabh Bachchan and revered technicians working for the movie. Hope, Nag really has got an enviable character in his Bollywood comeback movie.
