After nearly 2 decades Nagarjuna gets a release

Believe it or not but Nagarjuna hasn’t had a Sankranthi release in nearly 17 years even though he has done many films. The last time he had a release was in the year 1998 when his film Aavida Ma Aavide released.

Finally after seventeen years he is going to break the no Sankranthi release with Soggade Chinni Naayana. The film if reports are to be believed is locked for a January 15 release. Already the theatrical trailer released with Akhil is generating tremendous positive buzz.

What this also means is that Nag would be competing with other top hero’s for the festival season. Since this is the first solo film of Nagarjuna after Manam, the trade is hoping the film to have a good run for festival with good talk. However irrespective of the fate of the film fans seems to be in happy space ever since the announcement of holiday release started doing rounds. Well, one can’t blame them, can they?
