Nagarjuna Spends A Bomb For Bangarraju

After much delay, the suspense on Bangarraju has come to an end. The film is all set to go on floors from next week. Since it is the prequel to the blockbuster Soggade Chinni Nayana (2016), a lot of buzz surrounds it. Nagarjuna who is known for meticulous planning and doesn’t like to go overboard with the budget in a surprise turn of event is going all out for Bangarraju.

A huge set is being erected under art director Ravinder’s supervision. Soggade Chinni Nayana was a huge hit and now Nagarjuna doesn’t want to do calculative splurging on the budget. Thus the actor is going an extra mile to make it extravagant with production values and also cast.

Of late, Nagarjuna hasn’t scored a hit at the box office. While Wild Dog earned good reviews owing to the pandemic, there were fewer footfalls. Thus, Nagarjuna has pinned high hopes on Bangarraju. The film will also see Naga Chaitanya, where Krithi Shetty is cast opposite him.

Bigg Boss fame Monal Gajjar is also there. Kalyan Krishna Kurasala who helmed the original will also wield the megaphone for this, and Anoop Ruben will be scoring the music.
