Nagarjuna Akkineni has always been known for his open-minded and supportive approach toward his sons’ personal choices.
Though his first marriage didn’t work out, he later married actress Amala and they have been one of the most admired couples in the film industry.
His elder son when decided to marry a film actress, Nagarjuna didn’t oppose and Naga Chaitanya got married to Samantha in 2017. Due to unknown reasons, this marriage ended in divorce, and Nagarjuna continued to stand by his son.
Later Naga Chaitanya decided to marry Sobhita Dhulipala, another actress, and this time also Nagarjuna completely supported his son’s decision.
His younger son, Akhil Akkineni, decided to get engaged to Shriya Bhupal at the young age of 22. Nagarjuna approved, despite Shriya being slightly older. Although that engagement was called off within a year, Nagarjuna remained a pillar of strength for Akhil.
Now Akhil Akkineni has chosen to marry Zainab Ravdjee, who comes from a different caste and religion and is reportedly nine years older than him.
Nagarjuna has once again shown his progressive mindset by giving his blessing to the union, and the couple is now engaged.
While we can only imagine the internal struggles Nagarjuna might have faced as a parent, on the outside he consistently presents himself as a supportive father. He comes across as the best father in the world.
