Naidu finalizes location for Temp Secretariat

Amaravati township near Mangalagiri will house the Temporary secretariat of Andhra Pradesh. The Chief Minister had taken a decision in this respect and all the departments will be shifted to there by June, the next year.

Already few departments were shifted to Vijayawada and Guntur. The government is planning to build two storey buildings in the Township creating Six Lakh Square Feet of Office space. The tenders for the these buildings will be called by January-end.

These buildings will be used to house secretariat till the permanent buildings will be complete. Amaravati Township will be near to Rain Park where the residences of Ministers and officials are allotted.
