Naidu’s expertise reflects in three-tier Capital Plan

Andhra Pradesh’s upcoming capital will be built on a three tier infrastructure plan according to the state government’s plans. The Singapore experts team will submit the Master Plan in Mid-June and then the government will invite global tenders for the design and construction of each component of the capital.

The capital construction will begin with the infrastructure development like roads and water supply projects. The rest of the construction will be done in three tiers. Tier-I for Capital city, tier-II for neighbourhoods and habitations within in the region and tier-III for spaces related to individuals.

Most of the constructions in the capital will be funded by Overseas Development Agencies (ODA). Some of the constructions will be built on Public Private Partnership Model. According to the Reorganization Act, Center should fund the the entire capital construction. But with the recent callous attitude of the center towards the state, Chandrababu Naidu is looking for alternative options too.
