Naidu’s Govt. struggling to keep up Eros E-City?

Andhra Pradesh government had ambitiously inked a MOU with Eros International to establish a multi-billion dollar Entertainment City in Vishakapatnam. This happened four months ago but Naidu’s government is struggling to find the required land for the mega venture. The project will require 1500 acres and if the government fails to show it in 8 months, Eros will be scouting another state.

Half of the eight months deadline period already lapsed. Naidu’s government offered land at some other place of the state but Eros is firm on the location as it wants place close to the sea, and in the close proximity of an international airport. Vishakapatnam is the only fitting place for the Entertainment city in Andhra Pradesh.

The Entertainment City was slated to comprise a media city, an amusement park, commercial and residential spaces, hotels as well as leisure and healthcare facilities. The media city was to house pre-production, production and post-production facilities for the film, TV and advertising industries.
