Balayya’s Phone Call To Union Minister Made It Easy

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda has braved the two Lockdowns and is finally releasing on December 2nd. The movie was supposed to release in May last year. Due to Corona, the makers even had to change their shooting plans and work in different locations.

Producer Miryala Ravinder Reddy in interaction with M9.news has revealed some interesting things about the film. “We shot at Gingee Fort near Arunachalam. There is a superb temple that was carved out of a single rock. It is under the control of the Archaeology department and getting permissions was very tough,” he said.

“Luckily for us, MoS Home Minister Kishan Reddy garu became the Tourism Minister just a day before our shooting. Balakrishna garu made a phone call and he arranged everything for us. The local officials and people’s representatives have also helped us a lot and made it easy. It is going to be a highlight sequence in the film,” he added.

Akhanda is going to be the first star and mass film releasing in Tollywood after the Pandemic. The openings are superb in the Overseas markets even though the release is around ten days away. If that is the case with Overseas where Balayya is weak, the makers are expecting a rampage in the mass markets in AP and Nizam.
