The reason behind this delay is one Manjunath, a Bengaluru based distributor who approached Hari Krishna for the distribution rights of the movie in Bengaluru as per the scheduled time. Both Hari Krishna and Manjunath came to terms with the amount to be paid and the time limit for the payment of Rs.63 lakhs as agreed upon by both parties.
But Manjunath failed to pay the agreed amount though the release date was almost near and didn’t even respond to Harikrishna’s call leaving the release of the film in jeopardy. Harikrishna had no other choice than to approach another leading distributor Vijay Kumar, who made the release possible but a day late.
According to the latest update available, Vijay Kumar was threatened by Manjunath and two others to kill him and hence he had to file a complaint on Manjunath and his goons for the same. It is learnt that the issue had been settled Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce.
