The post Covid period has been rather tough on Tollywood with the vast majority of the Telugu films turning out to be duds. But if there’s one family that has been extremely successful after the Covid period, it has to be the Nandamuri family.

To start off, Nandamuri Balakrishna delivered a blockbuster with Akhanda which was the first Telugu biggie to release after the second wave. The film gave a new josh to Tollywood by emerging as a huge blockbuster when the industry just resumed operations after a dry slump.

Then came RRR. Jr NTR scored the first Rs 1000 crore grosser after the pandemic and later went on to win wide acclaim after RRR’s OTT debut on Netflix. The film is a beg step up in NTR’s career.

Lastly, we have Nandamuri Kalyan Ram who appears to have emerged as the third Nandamuri hero to succeed in the post pandemic period.

Kalyan Ram’s Bimbisara has opened to a positive word of mouth and the film is likely to post very good openings. There is a layer of positive buzz surrounding the film now. The industry is optimistic about Bimbisara. The makers are confident that the film will carry the momentum and have a fruitful run at the box office.

The Nandamuri family is clearly having a golden patch after the pandemic and no film family has been more successful than them in the mentioned timeline.
