Srinivas Rao Dammalapati doesn’t use sugar-coated language and minces no words. In one such interview he opened about how actors fail to recognize the good will gestures done by producers. Throwing more light on it, he says that he had worked with Nani for Pilla Zamindar as a producer.
Not only, Srinivas Rao Dammalapati gave complete remuneration to Nani, but on the latter’s request he gave the film for free to Nani’s brother-in-law for overseas distribution. While his manager came up and asked him his requirement for overseas rights, Srinivas Rao Dammalapati said he is in a happy zone and to convey to Nani that it was a gift given to him.
Although Nani’s brother-in-law got Pilla zamindar’s overseas rights for free, the actor didn’t even call back and expressed thank you, says Srinivas Rao Dammalapati. On the work front, Nani is busy with Rahul Sankrityan’s period drama Shyam Singha Roy. Apart from this, Nani has Tuck Jagadish and Ante Sundaraniki.
