Nani’s Gang Leader Is A Disaster

It is the ninth day since its release. And we are now in the second weekend of the run. But, if you have already forgotten about Nani’s Gang Leader, don’t worry, that is what happens when a movie shows a disastrous run at the ticket window. It goes out of people’s memory very soon.

Nani’s Gang Leader opened decently and showed a decent upward trend in the opening weekend. However, since the first Monday, the movie has dropped alarmingly on each passing day. It was only lakhs on the first Tuesday itself suggesting a free fall.

Consider this, in its opening weekend; Gang Leader collected nearly 16 Cr worldwide. At the end of the first week, it could hardly reach 19 Cr. That is how drastically collections came down.

With a new release in cinemas this week and one of them off to a flyer, there is nothing much left for Nani’s Gang Leader to add to its tally. It is likely to get closing around 20 Cr by the end of its run, which would be tomorrow (second Sunday).

The pre-release business of Nani’s Gang Leader is estimated around 31 Cr. It is, therefore, going to end up as a disaster trade wise. Vikram Kumar directed the movie, and it will be his second consecutive failure in Telugu.
