Nani’s Film Had More Fun, Less Romance – Director

Director Virinchi Varma Gunturi who made a dashing debut in Telugu with the super hit film ‘Uyyala Jampala’ is coming with his second directorial ‘Majnu’ starring Nani and Anu Emmanuel in the lead.

The title of the film tells us that this is going to be a love story. The director says that this love story is going to be different from Nani’s previous movies. Though the young hero’s ‘Ashta Chamma’ was a love story, it has more fun and less romance opines Virinchi Varma.

So, Virinchi is going to show Nani in a lover avatar in this romantic comedy. This is a new age love story where we don’t see the Majnu of the olden days who cried and turned drunkard in the memory of his lover separated from him. But we are going to see the intensity of his love and the extent to which he goes to declare his love.
