Only Telugu Hero After the Tamil Market

Nowadays, if a film isn’t announced as a pan-India project, it is considered a small film confined to the local market, regardless of how big the hero or director involved might be.

Even in the midst of this pan-India craze, Telugu heroes and producers have largely given up on one market: Tamil Nadu, due to the disappointing response Telugu movies have received there.

However, there is one Telugu hero still trying to win over Tamil audiences: Nani. He has done bilingual films in the past and continues to actively promote his movies in Tamil Nadu despite the poor response.

Though Nani’s last few films didn’t perform well in Tamil Nadu, he remains hopeful about this market for whatever reason. He even spent two days in Chennai giving interviews to Tamil media and local YouTube channels.

Will Tamil audiences care about his upcoming film, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, which also features a well-known face, S. J. Suryah? It’s hard to say for sure; we’ll have to wait and see.
