Nani’s Paradise India’s Mad Max: Let the Dogs Bark

Nani is on a dream run with back-to-back ambitious projects, and among them, Paradise stands out as one of the most anticipated films.

Directed by Srikanth Odela, who delivered the gritty Dasara, this film is being mounted on a massive scale by Sudhakar Cherukuri.

Set against the backdrop of Secunderabad, Paradise has already generated immense buzz, thanks to its intriguing premise, raw teaser, and Nani’s intense transformation.

However, there were rumors suggesting that Paradise had hit a roadblock due to budget constraints and Nani’s alleged dissatisfaction with the script. Quashing these speculations, the production team issued a fiery statement, calling out the gossip mongers as clowns.

They made it clear that the shoot is progressing as planned, emphasizing, “You’ll see how amazing this film is soon. Until then, let the rumor creators survive on gossip.” They even used the proverb, “When an elephant walks, stray dogs bark,” further asserting their confidence in the film’s impact.

Nani recently addressed the film’s unique tone in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. While initial reports described Paradise as an Indian version of Mad Max, Nani clarified that while the film embodies “madness to the maximum,” it is not inspired by Mad Max.

Instead, he described it as an unpredictable, high-energy cinematic ride that unfolds like a thrilling concert, where each scene elevates the excitement.

He also heaped praise on Srikanth Odela’s unconventional filmmaking style, noting that no other director in Telugu cinema perceives and executes scenes the way Odela does.
